Chapultepec is worth visiting specially in a "clear day" or during the weekend when it gets crowded with families

Of course la Merced is a really interesting place, as my grand father said you have to visit the Church and the local market if you want to get the feeling of any town in Mexico ( I guess in any place)
However you do not have to go that far from the Zocalo, just walk south two blocks and then six blocks to the west and you would find one of the oldest markets in Mexico City the San Juan market and really close to it there is a typical crafts market also called the same way.

Take the Touribus in downtown Mexico City, It is the best way to explore the most important part of the city.
If you are there on a Saturday do not miss San Angel and its Saturday Bazar.

Profesional! says Ricoh. Well it definitely do not compare with the capability or built construction of a Nikon D3s, not even with those of the Ricoh GRD series. Not the same price tag neither.
The GX series is now discontinued I have the latest firmware on my GX200. I would not expect any more updates, so if it is a firmware problem I think We will have to live with it.

My GX200 does the same. Just a question, where the GX cameras are promoted as professional tools?

I think the photo will work wonderful in square format. This will eliminate the overexposed upper part of the frame

I would imagine it is a GRDIII as it is in stock at your camera store.
I have a GRDIII and a GX200. I always use the viewfinder on both. The GRDIII uses an optical viewfinder, if there is a voigtlander one in the store you can check it out. The viewfinder is bright but it does not give you any information as the EVF of the GX100-200
One of the never ready pouches is actually very well done and let you put the camera in you coat pocket without any worries as it covers the camera and the VF nicely.

I had the same problem with a SD 8g card. I bought a new reader Class 6 compatable and voila! it works.

You can buy a DVD version of online tutorials on Lynda too.

The VR feature will be really helpful especially at Monte Verde and the Crocodiles. I was there with my 70-200 VR. It was heavy but i do not regret it.
