Love your work Glen, the detail in the clouds and the waterfall make this shot, well done!

Remembered this spot from a previous visit however the tree grew a lot on the upper RHS which spoil's the balance of the photo a little, it was also blowing wildly in the wind.
Still I liked the leading lines in the rock wall, fence and this time round in the clouds, the spot on the water was a bit of luck however I took several photo's over about 20min to get this result.

Hi Birte, this would be a great shot from the expressway at dusk but adding the lightening and moon, what a rare capture, well done and top marks from an envious admirer of your work!

Good choice of format, I like the reflections and black canvas created by this exposure, well done!

nice composition Glen, the clouds are also very interesting.

Edmondo, I think the lighting around the smoke is great in this photo, it tends to draw my eye around the detail in the village, any comments on how you took the photo and processed it.
Regards, Brendan.

Hi Patrick,
I was using f/11 @ 16mm and 0.6 sec for the foreground, I find this results in a good balance between capturing the impact of the water but also allowing enough time for the water to leave a trail as it flows off the rocks.
Due to the size of the waves I was far enough away from the rocks to use f/11 which I also find produces the sharpest picture on the 16-35mm lens.
I blended a second shot for the clouds at 1/20th, possibly had enough latitude in the sensor for a single image however I find this gives a better result without having to do much with the RAW image.
Best Regards,
