Many thanks for that Stan, that's just the sort of input I need and I appreciate you taking the time to comment.
Thanks Rashed, as always it's a pleasure to hear from you and thank you for stopping by.
Best regards,
Darryl

I've been through the same, at the moment I'm using a 105mm micro with a 20mm extension tube and I've been shocked at how tight I have to go (f11 gives about 2/3 the depth of field you have here at close range), I've missed some lovely shots because I only had one tiny part in focus so the best advice I can give is to go a couple of stops above and crop or fudge it subtlely with software if it's too much of a distraction.
And when you get it nailed, please feel free to come and let me know what worked for you :o)

Not so enamoured with the border, to be honest I think it detracts from the picture as a whole, but the shot itself is eyecatching. A slighter higher ISO to allow a tighter aperture would've brought the back wing in a bit and clarified the tip of the front wing, but considering the lack of time to plan every detail I'd be happy with it.
Don't fret about 3's, some people get their kicks acting like that.

I like it, but I would have preferred the couple slightly larger and slightly more towards the centre. At first glance the thumbnail looks as though the bride and groom are running out of your way to let you photograph the landscape, once you can clearly see the pose of the newlyweds the intention becomes clear. It would work brilliantly as a huge print, but as a small picture on a desk it doesn't convey the moment. A very unusual composition that has the potential to produce a large feature for a wall and, with some cropping, a decent 8x10
