    Fall Rain

Nicely executed. The simplicity of this is what makes it so appealing. Well chosen tones and DoF...I like this very much

  1. Excellent! Love everything about this...I bet it is fantastic in a LARGER view. I would put this on my wall, it would be a great conversation piece. The colors and lighting along with the reflection are very pleasing. I might have discarded this one had I taken it just because of the softness or movement motion but I would have been wrong as this is what makes the image so appealing. Well done Stephen!

As always you deliver the most fantastic & "creepy" looking bugs  ;) Love the angle, the clarity is very good too. Very well presented Chris

    My Dear Lawrence,

My heartfelt condolences for your loss. I hope that you always remember the wonderful and fun times had with your father. As Steve said...tell the stories of when and how he lived! I have lost both my parents and know that I was so lucky to have had them in my life and I find great comfort in telling their stories. I was fortunate to have been loved by such great people! You and your family will be in my prayers.

Thank you for allowing us a larger view  ;) The inclusion of the surfer adds so much to this with it's amazing sky...this guy was enjoying it too! This must be a shipping lane, three maybe four barges-tankers-freighters in distance....Well done!

Magical, the vignette adds some mystery. You have accomplished capturing the lighting very well and this is just beautiful....my compliments.

  2. I thought I recognized this trail! I love the angle and composition. The fence draws us in and then we search for the trail to take us higher into the forest. Sometimes we get hung up on looking for the "perfect" image that we miss something so beautiful and simply right in front of our eyes. Well seen and presented.

Great shot Monte although I can't imagine that the fish is very happy  ;) Very good color and clarity, the presentation is perfection. I don't shoot birds, have given it a half hearted try and can respect the patience and precision it takes to get an awesome image such as this one..... Truly you have much talent and I do so enjoy your photos!

    Warmest regards, Pamela

I am not a lover of these scenes as a rule, however this has wonderful shadow and light play. It is very dimensional with the angle you 've used...I like that. Well done

  3. Beautiful capture...most of the time these shots are just another duck...not this one! The bg is exceptional and perfect to highlight the bird as flight starts, love the water droplets and ripples in the water below too. Very well accomplished

  4. Beautiful, good choice with the filter and what must have been a longer exposure to give it the dream like quality. Excellent lighting on the mountain peaks and great clarity.

I like what you have accomplished here, obviously a longer exposure to achieve this dreamy effect on the water. Nice pov with he way the pilings draw us into the image and the lighting is very nice. My only nit is that you have not cleaned up the sensor spots...usually more noticeable with longer exposures.

  5. Wonderful and wow the light is magical. I have seen many of this area and I always like the snowy ones better, it adds detail and makes the color pop out. My compliments

There is a lot to like about this image, creative and well presented with really good pp work. I like the tonal range and composition as well as your lighting. I do wonder if this is the wrong catagory...maybe should be in still life or fine art....

    Best regards, Pamela
