  1. A view from The Twelve Bens, or Twelve Pins... Frequent rainfall and steep-

    sided mountains produce an abundance of small trickles and streams

    which descend into wide-bottomed valleys below the Twelve Pins to join

    larger streams with riffles and pools...

    The Wicklow Mountains which experience a temperate oceanic climate with

    mild, damp summers and cool, wet winters... The entire upland area is

    designated as a Special Area of Conservation and as a Special Protection

    Area under European Union law. The Wicklow Mountains National Park was

    established in 1991 to conserve the local biodiversity and landscape.

  2. Night shot from Leoh Mountain which is part of Wicklow mountain range,

    the largest continuous upland area in Ireland... Uprising moon lit up whole

    area, visibility was perfect until clouds darkened it all and light rain start to

    pour down... Thanks...
