Can anyone show me a link where this is $20?
-
For me it's a toss up between that and a Nikon R1 set up.

Hey there. I was considering getting one of these non electronic attachment "ring light" thingy's. Is this piece of metal and plastic worth $200?
Does it really perform like a ring light? Thanks.

If you're panning, there's no sense in using the VR. Check your users manual for more info on this.

Wow..Thanks a bunch!

Hi everyone,
I have a site that has a certain color background and if I want my images to fade away into that color what would I have to do? I have the
borders that I want, it's just the color that I am having an issue with. Is there to sample a color from the internet?

The D300 just came out. It will take all of your old lenses. You may need some new ones though (DX format and all). I own it
and absolutely love it. For a little more you can get the D700 but that camera will be outdated quickly. It is the first in a line,
whereas the D300 is one of the last in a line.

300 / 2.8? very pro!

It's the red eye reduction.

Hi all,
I have a 67mm lens and a 72mm polarizer. I have a step up ring for the lens so that I can use the filter, the only problem is that it makes it
impossible for me to use the lens hood :( Any ideas on a fix for this?

Get Dust Aid. Works every time.

There are some great books to get on this. Go back to amazon and buy one. You won't be disappointed :)

You will need to find a way to use the available light in your environment.

I am considering getting an after market split prism screen off of ebay to help for manual focusing. Does anyone have any experience with these
or any split prism screens on nikon DSLRs?

I took some photos of a model and told her she could put them on her site. She uses a modeling networking site. I gave her some color
corrected files that were by no means final products and now she has them on this site with my name on them. I think she thinks she's doing
the right thing to try to give me credit, but I just want my name as far away from those images as possible! I've left her a phone message today.
I'm stressed. Do I have any legal recourse here. Am I being paranoid?

Hard drives crash. It's always nice to have DVD backups.

What Steve said about hard drive efficiency is true. Ideally, you don't want fill up any media all the way (including flash cards).
That said, we live in a day and age where media is dirt cheap. You can buy a terabyte for less than $400!

There are definitely do's and don'ts for posing..If it's something that interests you, I would get a book on the subject. Otherwise,
David's suggestion is good. Looking through Vogue or Vanity Fair. Checking out 5-6 pictures that you like. Mark the pages,
and bring the magazine with you to the shoot. This way you can show your model the pic in the mag. They really appreciate it
when you do that. it makes it easier for them to pose :)

Do you know how to use a mask? It's similar to what Steve is saying but it would be something you could change later if you
wished.

Photography is all about experimentation. Get out there and try the same shot at every single aperture. See
which you you like for the subject matter.

Thanks Bruce. I was reading on another thread here, that the affective is actually 75mm when close in, which would kind of
confirm what you are saying. I played with one in the store and now I just got to have me one :))

Is 105mm Macro on a D300 too long to Shoot Flowers? I know it would be fine on a full frame, but I just wanted to make sure I would be alright
with this purchase. Thanks.

I wasn't aware that the l bracket and speed ring came with the box. Good to know. Makes it worth the price.

When you say future-proof, do you mean for you? Are you planning on buying a full frame camera, because DX isn't going
anywhere anytime soon.
