Love the expression. Perfect timing. Love the little water droplet on his arm. Gives you a sense of environment. He has been getting his hand dirty all right.

Your temperature is a bit on the warmer side (slight red ting). But I kind of like it. It seems to go well with the vintaging.

I hate insects. So I'd say that this guy is way braver than me :)

Love the light and the texture of the rocks. The color is nicely saturated. One experiment here could be if you played with the shutter speed to get the water flow smoother. May be version 2 :)

This is a very nice picture both from composition and light.

Like another reviewer, I also believe that the pink on the sky could be a bit toned down. May be a slight gradiant from top to about the horizon line.

One other thing worth trying is if you could get some of the details on the rock at the left.

But these are minor things. Overall a very nice capture!

Mt. Washington Hotel Panorama shot stitched from 4 vertical shots using Microsoft ICE. Adjusted curves a bit and added a slight gradient on the sky to bring out the clouds.

The children in the foreground gives a sense of scale. The place is massive.

One of the best here on Photo.net in my opinion. Love the subtle dynamic range. Also the blue saturation is very nicely done.

Also there is practically no noise in the darker areas.

There are several things I like about this picture:

* First off, the close up of the cannon on the right looks like a scene from a war movie about to fire on the city below - therefore dramatic

* Second, you can clearly see how little green trees there is and therefore the smog.

* Also the blue on the roofs add color to the scene that would otherwise be plain.

From an improvement standpoint, I would shift the curves a bit to make the blacks stand out a bit and thus add a bit more crispness. Also add a slight gradiant to the sky to bring out the clouds and add to the drama.

Love the post processing and the composition. As Bela suggested it is bold to stray away from norms and put the horizon in the middle instead of the standard 1/3. But it works well here. I think it is mainly because you want the attention to be on both sides of the horizon.

The color and light here is really superb. The clouds are of course beautiful. The exposure is just perfect IMO. The picture has the sky well exposed and also has some details of the dark foreground. This dynamic range looks very natural. The trees' outlines against the sky looks great.
