I enjoy city panoramas like this but they usually don't get rated well here as the buildings in the distance all blend together.

There are several things I like about this picture:

* First off, the close up of the cannon on the right looks like a scene from a war movie about to fire on the city below - therefore dramatic

* Second, you can clearly see how little green trees there is and therefore the smog.

* Also the blue on the roofs add color to the scene that would otherwise be plain.

From an improvement standpoint, I would shift the curves a bit to make the blacks stand out a bit and thus add a bit more crispness. Also add a slight gradiant to the sky to bring out the clouds and add to the drama.
