Hi Sumon,
I thought about this and tried different options, but the poll becomes too small and not recognizabIe as of what object it. So I decided to leave it as it shows as Stoil mentioned the natural environment of these birds.
Thank you both for your input!

Very sensual photo! Congratulations! Tried but couldn’t find the photo as anonymous so I will not rate.

Great exposure and nice composition. My favorite part is the intensity of the models facial expressions. It makes me want to take a peek at the table to. Very nice capture!

Thanks Monte!
As always you are right on the spot – this is probably my best option at the moment. 500mm be a stretch and 400mm f5.6 really impressed me.
Hi Sihn,
Thanks for stopping by! Your photos actually where part of the reason for my decision to give this spectacular lens a spin. :) You have GREAT portfolio BTW.
As you mentioned it my post http://photo.net/canon-eos-digital-camera-forum/00R5iF - “...Just be careful because once you get the 400, you'll want the 500, then 600, then 800 ...”. That’s exactly what happened! I wanted to be able to use it with 1.4 II extender and 30D. Unfortunately, that combination did not work because the lens is little slow (Diana, I tried the taping trick but the autofocus was very sporadic and slow – it simply doesn’t work. Sorry for the late reply :) ). So my line of thoughts where – ether new 1D (which depreciates fast) or invest in 500mm lens. After so much time and testing, I think it will be nether – I don’t want to stretch my budget so much.
Diana,
I agree, the autofocus of this lens by itself is very, very fast. The problem is if I try to use the extender – I know “you get what you paid for” :) . Thank you for the noise reduction info – I am sure it will come handy!
BTW, I looked at the RAW image at %100 magnification and it is almost identical to the posted image. Previously, I had issue of noise increase after running the actions in PS. After spending some time, I realized that I used higher compression %70 with the last saved jpg file and PS used the same settings as defaults during the file save part of the action. That was not the case now.
The only thing I noticed is that the photo looks little better on my monitor (at home) than the one earlier today – so basically what you see is what I got from the camera.
Finally, I think I will place the order for this great and reasonably priced lens – 400mm f5.6.
Thank you all for your time helping me become better photographer!

Looking at the image up close and comparing it to the original - I can see that there is a problem with the post processing workflow that I have. The original is much sharper. I believe the signature and the frame (PS3 action scripts) introduce lots of noise.
