Whaaaaah ! What an extraordinary shot ! Deserves a worldwide prize ! Incredible sharpness, and superb contrat between the warm water tones and the cooler tones of the bird.... I imagine the eye of the photographer to be as sharp as the bird's...
Very nice study. The softness of the skin and the level of detials in the bacground remind me of the 8x10 negatives from Ansel Adams, in spite of the missing models in his work...
The wet dress is a classic, howver this one stands out du to the lovely opposition of the cold blue and green backround with the warm and superb skin tones.. Vey well done;;;; The sligh blurr of the moving body adds also poetry... I hardly believe that there is so little depth of field at the given aperture, with a 120 mm lens... But this is a nice result.
Very poetic image, a sort of dream in the forest. Magnificent rendition of shadows and highlights. Hard to imagine that the shot was taken with a 55 mm lens. However this reminds me that the french photgrapher Bernard Plossu reportedly uses only a 50 mm lens for all his pictures (and an old Nikkormat and B/W film ) therefore one has to be convinced that the eye is more imporant than the gear...
