Thanks Alan...my aim was actually to create the main point of the photo the bright centre, allowing the eye to be drawn in by the surrounding dark clouds. Thanks so much for your very useful comments. Regards

Hi Alan, this shot was actually taken from a small aircraft in Papua New Guinea in the edge of a storm. I actually added filters after using Photoshop. Thanks so much for your comments!
