This is the first time I have tried graduation portraits. I was trying to use
natural light as the harsh flash just diddnt work well with his complexion

Thanks for the sugestions guys I'll work on these photos a bit and see if his Mom likes the edited ones more. As for the expression on his face thats a typical Ron expression he uses that expression a lot. The busy fall background was his Moms idea. But if I calm the background down just a bit that would make Ron the center of focus as he should be. Thanks agian.

This is my first attempt at taking graduation photos. How did I do? So
far I have uploaded 2 of them.

The shadows maybe alittle deep emphasizing the suns position, the reds can actually be this red in this part of the country. This is a great picture and as said above would look great hanging above the fireplace with a gun on racks between it and the mantle or above the picture. Very nice work!

This is absolutely beautiful the coplors are pefect on my monitor. -
I dont think you should crop the poles off the left if you do that you will loose to much of the wheat feild in front of the barn or the sky above eather would lessen the effect of the picture of the barn in the middle of a wheat feild. The poles on both sides even it out. Leave it as is.... good composition good colors good exposure.

I have tried to take this picture a few times and I blow the sky out everytime. This is such a pretty garden and your picture does it justice!

No the tower is straight the wall looks crooked because of the angle you are taking the photo from. Very nce BTW I like this tower and you captured it perfectly.

Don I like this it looks nice. I might have made the mask a little smaller and placed it higher up in the corner of the photo with a little more of the background creek showing in the bottom of the photo. (I have no clue how to tell you how to do this I know its layers and masks but which mask is the question) But that is more my personal preference and not artistic ability.
