I'm having a pretty significant image quality reduction when I post

this one (and a few others) online. Does anyone know any tips to

minimizing this issue? Comments and critique are also appreciated.

Mmm.. If I was standing over such a big pot of chocolate, I'd be smiling too! You've caught a nice moment here, with a great genuine expression. I do find the green wire a bit distracting, and the lights a little less so (even though they are bright, they are less out of place, so I can ignore them easier).

What I really like about this photo is the perspective and how you can see the butterfly in its full beauty. You've managed to show off its face, the length of its body, and both sides of its wings. Well done!

I like the direct, head-on gaze here, and the pose (very ninja-like). The bright color contrasted with the black background is also quite striking,and helps bring out the its markings. Very nice!

Gerry, this is a pretty image with good lighting. I like it against the black background. The softness gives it a nice demure look, but I think a little more detail in the center would make the photo look a little less flat. Thanks for sharing!

Good symmetry and perspective. I just posted a similar photo in my portfolio, so naturally this one caught my eye. The light coming in from the right seems a little harsh compared with everywhere else, but overall this is a nice photo!

Nice! I especially like the color and detail. I think I would take just a *tiny* bit off the left hand size, to balance it out a bit, however. Great originality though.

You have a bit of a 3D effect going on here. I wonder if you sharpened it just a little bit whether even more of the detail would be brought out and the 3D would be enhanced. Interesting photo!
