ellery 0 Posted September 11, 2009 Tell me strait - is it boring - insteresting - do you like the processing? Any suggestions for this beginner much appreciated! Link to comment
aarkp 2 Posted September 11, 2009 Where in Jersey did you find this! ...if the pole had been emerging exactly from the corner it would have been marvelous... shooting up was a great idea... i guess this was the best you could get having circled it... the leaves are well-exposed with nice detail... you must have had real fun working on this on the comp Link to comment
ellery 0 Posted September 11, 2009 Yeah, I was reaching over into a ditch with my camear - I made about 10 attempts - they were pretty crude attempts - just kinda reached inside, pointed up and shot (did use a farily high Av if I recall) - I see what you mean though - It would have been a bit more dynamic as a good diagonal! I was quite happy with this overall - the photo taken from the outside of the tree was quite boring - this made for a really cool exposure against the bright sun - I found this less saturated version made for a stronger image as well.... ellery 0 Posted December 20, 2009 Yeah, I had tried to shoot this small tree from the usual perspectives and it was really boring - sometimes you gottat get in there and get chiggers to get the best shot, which I did, my father in law warned "if you walk into those weeds, you will get chiggers - I got 4-5 on my legs and itched like hell for 2 weeks, it was worth it :) Link to comment
