Thanks for comments. I see now that the top should definitely be cropped a bit. I will keep the other suggestions in mind when I go back to reshoot, and/or if I take a second crack at processing on this one. Your help is much appreciated!

I like the idea behind this, and the composition really helps to bring it out. If this image were a little sharper, I think the "spikes" would stand out more and the whole thing would be even better. Nice job!

Great lines, made more interesting by the fact that they seem to be pointing to the one far bush that seems to be breaking the conformity. Thanks for sharing!
