Thank you, Pierre, and best regards to you!

As always, any suggestions or comments welcome. Thank you!

Any constructive comments appreciated...thank you!

Love this shot! Fantastic capture of formation and one of those you can keep glancing from foreground to background, back to foreground, and makes you almost think the large swirl of snow and sand is a wave. Beautifully captured!

Hi John! Indeed I did on that particular visit. I have some rather unique water formations with the snow behind it - that trail down is rather brutal with a full backpack and tripod! :) Thanks so much for commenting.

Walter, outstanding!!! The shoreline in the foreground indeed helps to anchor this image - your time lapse and tonality are perfectly fitting here. I've never been to PIE - perhaps someday. Happy Holidays!

Are the boulders on the left too dark? I did some selective burning
in. Thoughts and comments welcome and greatly appreciated. Thank you.

Thanks for the great feedback! I think it's my first time being featured on the PN homepage. This is one of my favorite shots and needless to say, it was ice cold the day I took this! I'm looking forward to another season with some hopefully good winter photography here in West Michigan.

Hi Gup,
This was taken at the end of the Grand Haven pier lighthouse in Grand Haven, Michigan on Lake Michigan. Thanks for commenting!

Crisp Point Lighthouse, located west of Whitefish Point, in
Michigan's Upper Peninsula. This was taken about 6pm or so, facing
west into the sun. No flare with the lens - took a little bit of
composure!
This is a resubmit of a critique from a couple days ago. Thanks to
David Roossien for the suggestive input on how to improve! Comments
welcome and greatly appreciated. Thank you!

Love this!! The lighting is very moody and looks like you caught the sunset at just the right time. Isn't it great when Lake Michigan agrees with a great portrait? I'm still not used to seeing it with the lantern room painted black. Be sure to check out my Point Betise folder - I've got a couple dozen in there. Nicely done!

Thanks to everyone for the comments! It was a gorgeous summer evening out on Lake Superior that night!

For those of you unfamiliar with this landscape, Miner's Castle is a
natural rock formation and one of the most popular viewing spots in
the Pictured Rocks National Lakeshore. In spring 2006, one of the
peaks fell off, forever changing the look to this gorgeous spot. You
can see what it looked like before

Walter, thanks for your feedback. I had a bunch of beach-goers off to the left, which is why I ended up where I did. I could have PS'd them out I suppose, but it was just easier to recompose. :) I'm heading up to the UP next week for four days - I can't wait! Sure hope the weather cooperates for some awesome shoreline, waterfall, and lighthouse shots!

Thanks, Lou Ann! Appreciate you stopping by!

I like this, also! The detail is amazing, right down to the individual plants in the field. We lost power for two days last week in the round of storms...I hate being without A/C!

Al, thanks for commenting. It's pretty overcast and cloudy today, with rain threatening again, which is why I bumped to 1600 to keep the shutter speed. I unfortunately suffer with the F4 and not having a 2.8 lens! I did capture one of him in the same spot and managed to freeze the wings a bit more.

Love the uniqueness and flow to this abstract. Pinpoint sharp and very three-dimensional.
