Ruby-Throat Hummingbird

Thoughts and comments welcome and greatly appreciated. My first

attempt with these fast-winged creatures. Thank you.

There is surprisingly little noise in this image for having shot it at ISO1600.

Color temp was edited in RAW with Canon's included software and then final touches put on in PS7. I'm totally bowled over for the low ISO in the 20D.

Nice shot. A faster shutter (2000) will get the wings for you. Guess I'd back off ISO to 800. Keep it up. Best to you.

Al, thanks for commenting. It's pretty overcast and cloudy today, with rain threatening again, which is why I bumped to 1600 to keep the shutter speed. I unfortunately suffer with the F4 and not having a 2.8 lens! I did capture one of him in the same spot and managed to freeze the wings a bit more.
