Thank you for great comments... exactly what i was looking for. I see what you mean. Perhaps I can retake with her holding her hands close to her face and have her looking at it. Then i can focus on her eyes looking at it or her shells. I think that would be better. Also yes, had a problem keeping her hands in focus. I think it is mainly due to camera shake, using a kit lens in low light- more prone to blurriness from shaking (or so I've read). She always finds shells/rocks on the beach and so next time I'll take it differently using your suggestions! (New lens on order- I'm so excited!)

Yes I totally agree. I am putting software on my computer this weekend so I'll try and play around with it and post the results if I figure it out! :)

Children? Landscape? These girls were skipping rocks on the
Chesapeake Bay at dusk in April.
