    Feeding Frenzy

          1

Shot hastily with $100 'point & shoot' early one autumn morning during

breakfast time at the shelter for a new group of puppies-I've always just

    loved its energy!

there are too many words to describe this seemingly static but

exceedingly tense and expectant moment of awaiting the exchange in

the everlasting passion for this game

in Technicolor ! another version of an earlier submission, this one in

color (obviously) versus the previous black and white, though actually

still a little muted from its reality, and I suppose its still a monotone

either way... any comments are of course appreciated. Many thanks to

    you.

This piece was primarily just to play with the tinting and shading of

color... We were waiting in hotel, the majority of the light was coming

from a wall sconce to her right; it was obviously very arbitrary but

seemed to lend itself well to this kind of experimenting... I hope that it

will translate well here, try viewing larger... Is it too much, not enough,

please freely share any thoughts; and of course, I thank you now just for

    viewing.

Any thoughts on this little bit of a different approach to the more

traditional pet portrait? Thanks in advance for any comments and/or

    ratings!

  1. It was mid-afternoon naptime at the shelter, when I got this 'Do Not

Disturb' kind of glance. Please share any comments freely, and visit my

gallery to see some more endearing dogs and cats. And I thank you for

    viewing!

    Thomas, again...

... another, little bit different, shot of Thomas at the Monadnock Humane

Society; this one has also been getting a fairly good response with it's

kind of different crop... any thoughts? Thanks!
