Usually ready to run, this mountain goat was curious and only
headed for nearby cliffs after checking me out.
-
These two reminded me of two 13 year old boys messing around.
You could just about hear "dude!" as they juked in slow motion.

From a favorite area with plenty of glacially scarred rock
outcroppings.

Captured between storm fronts.

Plenty of communication coming from this bull.

From earlier this summer. I imagine they look more moose-like now.

shore. Brad

One of several shots I was able to get of the cautious and playful
twins. Brad

The moose walked over a rise at the same time I crested a large
rock. Surprises all around. Thanks for the feedback. Brad

Captured with tripod-mounted camera extended beyond the Horseshoe
Bend cliff-edge. Windy conditions made it challenging to hold the rig
steady and level enough. Thanks for the comments and feedback.

Most everyone has one of these, so here is mine. Hard to believe
there were about 100 people off camera, including one young boy
who wanted to stay under the arch when the great light came on. His
mother gave him what for!
