Only a mile above Athabasca Falls and struggling the calf needed a

rescue herding back to shore.

This very young moose calf struggles to stay afloat in the fast and

frigid Athabasca River in Jasper National Park. The cow's rescue

image is in my gallery.

The cow moose was trying to encourage her calf to swim across the

fast and frigid Athabasca River in Jasper N.P., Alberta. Unfortunately

the calf struggled to the point where the cow swam down to it and

herded it back to the far shore.

Very nicely composed. The colors and textures are excellent. Well done.

Glacier National Park bighorn sheep. The ram on the left was

determined that the group move to the right!

From a few springs ago, a small surprise in an aspen grove. Thanks

From a hike where I was able to slip in above a dozing group of

mountain goats and enjoy their action. Looking forward to summer.

Mid-day surprise, this owl flew past and landed seeming to be fairly

curious about me.

This cow alternately feeding under water and checking on her twin

calves on shore.

This bull began charging me and stopped when I moved, quickly,

away from the shore. I stepped back a bit closer when he stopped

and got this one. Then it was time to go.

Mid-winter in light flurries this one was a very cooperative subject.

Captured this nanny a few days before Christmas. I was able to get

pretty close and she was curious enough to stick around.

Very nice image. Ghost-like with great composition to bring the eye into the image.
