This cow was hot on the trail of a large bull heading back into the
thick aspen. She took a few sips, heard his croaking in the trees and
headed off at a trot.

I am excited to share that Winter Billy was selected by Natural
History Museum of Utah for inclusion in its Utah Wilderness 50
Exhibition. The Exhibit will display 50 photos representing Utah
wilderness in celebration of the 50th anniversary of the signing of the
Wilderness Act of 1964. The exhibition runs from September 3, 2014
to December 31, 2014.

Using my car as a blind I had spent a few minutes observing this
Canadian black bear eating, then it turned the tables and sat down
and observed me.

Thank you, hunting mountain goats with a camera is a challenge and a blast. Oddly I have found the greatest success stalking from above.

This mountain goat could not have been more than 3 weeks old.

A little young mountain goat in Glacier N.P. A nice treat to see it so
close, typically the Utah mountain goats are gone long before you
can get close.
