1.
Great shots! I so look forward to viewing these every week.
Mine is from a stop (mid-day, darnit!) at the NC Train Museum in Spenser NC. Inspied by Ed K the week of the 4th. The Norfolk Southern heritage fleet had gone, but it was still a good chance to stop and play with the Sigma 8-16.
Rich

00adA6-483321684.JPG.75a9a692d21645f3a671f7852b1fb70d.JPG

 2.
Faith,

I'm starting to mess around with waterproof camera stuff, mainly to get in the water and shoot surfers for fun. I've got a couple of things going....
First for a very small investment I picked up a Nikonos and a new set of o-rings for it. I ran a roll of film thru it and it functions fine, and fresh water tests at home in the sink so it is sealed, so my next trip to the beach will be the real test.
For my second part of this I purchased a GoPro Hero. I got it originally for a vacation including zip-lining. I'm very pleased by the image quality, and will play with that one in the water too. Now I just got to make the time to get in there when the conditions are right.
3.
Is there a chance that you came out from the AC and the temp and humidity were still high enough to frost over a lens surface? I have thought about going out the last few nights, but here in Eastern NC the sky has been way too hazy and any shots taken outside has involved letting the camera and lens acclimate in a bag as I moved from indoors to out and vice versa.

 4.
Really nice photos this week, and Lupo I too am now thinking about lunch!
Mine this week is of a rather special moment. My mother-in-law, Lina, passed this week losing to cancer. The pic is of her brave little dog Lilly curled up by Lina just hours prior to her passing. That little dog definitely knew what was going on and was the sweetest thing to Lina always, especially in her final hours.
Rich

00aTaT-472533584.JPG.3d65bf82d299d3299d9fb2389636fda5.JPG

 5.
Great shots as always!
Mine is of a reunited family. We have a feral mama kitty at work and knew she had kittens, but had not found them. Turns out they were in one of our work trucks that sits a bit. The guys that took the truck to the job site found the babies and it all made sense; mama had been yelling at me for a while and I didn't know why.

00aOmd-466871584.JPG.fc4868d9794e6ae02ffb919b197fc074.JPG

 6.
Wow! So many great photos. My favs though are Randall's and Martin's.
This week I walked out to "walk" the mother-in-law's dog just before sunrise, and there was a fox hanging out in Suburbia...Not uncommon. She (?) was patient and waited for us to finish and for me to retrieve my camera. I'm hopeful that she's just out and about more for foraging to feed young ones, and not in the early stages of rabies or something. Animal Control says no foam about the mouth then they are not coming until after breeding season. Great. That means it'll look like I'm fishing for the fox while we are dog sitting.

00aGN1-457503584.JPG.b53a2a3b80d7053c571137830112c556.JPG
