    I like the colors and the mood....but the blur is almost distracting for me...I think if the trees and house to the left were in more in focus it would be more pleasing....IMHO...Congrats Ken

    The contrasting colors are great. Normally I would not say the subject of the image should be centered..but it might work well in this case to have the light house dead center... Congrats on a good shot....Ken

    Nice idea...thinkin' outside the box.... Here's a quick edit...Curves,Brightness,Contrast, and just a bit of Gamma.... Congrats on a good work.Ken

  1. To answer your question... Yes... the comp and tone is good, I'm sorta an over-processor but I might have darkened the roof tops just a touch for additional contrast.. Congrats on a good work.... Ken

     

  2. I understand that... I also do it... get there and just stand there... It's sorta of therapy for me as I have limited patience...Living in Wyoming helps due to the ease of access to these places. I can drive short distances, walk a bit, and just wait. B&W is my favorite although I've spent this year concentrating on color, HDR, and for the first time in 20 years learning Portraits. That (portraits and the lighting of them) has been both a challenge and rewarding.... Ken

    Absolutely Stunning... I have an affection for Whippets since I have 3... Congrats on Great comp and lighting....I would disagree they always look sad...mine are very happy (spoiled)....Ken
