Well my (lowly) opinion, b&w is certainly in the eye of the beholder. I'm passionate about black and white (landscape mainly) In my office I have 2 Ansel Adams as inspiration. When I convert, print, edit, or whatever I look at those and wonder what he would've done while shooting to achieve such a great picture. This didn't really answer your question, just a thought on the subject.

Another "Newbie opinion" --- I'm not here for the "scores" I'm here to learn and get opinions of my work. I do agree if someone is going to give me a below average rating I wish they would say why. (Even if they said "this photo sucks" )I could sit back and look and determine if I agree or whatever. Anyway thanks for the opportunity to present my not so 2 cents worth.

It's clean and neat for sure and gets to the point... I just started mine... No Gallery or text yet maybe in a week or so... Check it out if you like. I'm going to do a small movie on the front page with a sample of photos in a film type display. It will only play for a few seconds then fade to the center. www.beartoothphotography.net

I just finished scanning 100 slides from the early 80's with my Epson 700 with some fine tuning in Corel they print 13x19 just fine.
