    Serenity

Rajat, thanks for the compliment.   Ken, I have the same picture with one arc and the person off center. I definitely think this one is more interesting. The additional arc gives more depth and the sea is more expansive giving more room for the viewer to contemplate (through the subject in the photograph). Place your hand to cover one arc and see which is better. I prefer this version. Nevertheless thanks for your comments.

    History and human-14

Wonderful capture. I love the fact that the human figure is framed by the small black door as well as the foreground arch.

    Jupiter Temple #1

I want to go to Athens one day. My kids are currently at the age where "adult" travelling is not possible. I'll settle for Disneyland at the moment :)

    Skating in the sunset

Great capture. I would have like to see a more tightly cropped version. However, as it is, the picture is wonderful. Nicely done!

    Easy road!

I like the way you framed that shot. I don't know how the original was taken but the square format works great. Just like other members commented there is tension and fragility in the photograph. Nice capture...

    Postcard

I like the quality of light. This photograph gave me a feeling of going back in time. Good capture.
  15. Very nice shot Jose. I believe this can be improved further by adding slightly more contrast. I am particularly talking about the shadows in the windows vs the wall.
