Thanks Gerry. The image was shot on 120 BW and latter hand coloured ( traditionally with pigment inks ) -

Cool idea, makes for an interesting study, the shadows and play of shapes ... the hand looks like its almost a tango dancing across the floor. Man I looked at your work, you have travelled. Great work... -

Supriyo ... real nice balance to the image, offsetting the water movement to the rock mass... You have a good eye for balance and composition. I find I take for ever to set the tripod on a landscape or nature study. What the viewer never knows is how much work it takes to go to these places and find the image amongst the world of nature. And I agree with Stephane's comment regarding BW. For me sometimes it's colour and sometimes it has to be BW. Nice shot. -
Supriyo... On the weekend I was going to look through a bunch of folio's... I was looking forward to browsing your work... but I'm sitting at home watching some silly film and then decided to check my emails. Thanks for your support. A complement from you is a compliment. You have a wide range, and you have a good eye, this image is excellent. I'm trying to get motivated to do a series but its hard because I can't find the people around me who are interesting... maybe I have to wait. New Zealand is good landscapes, but towns and places are bland. Talk soon... very cool shot. Thanks -
