C&C appreciated, this is a B&W conversion of a favorite color image

(also in my portfolio). I prefer the color version, but would be happy

to hear peoples opinions.

I think you've got an interesting idea here, but maybe need to execute a bit differently.

In my opinion the difference in focus between your two shots is too extreme here. The woman is razor sharp (works for me) but the (doll?) house is so soft that the effect is a bit jarring instead of having one specific emotion to tie to it. The obvious difference in light sources (cold direct flash reflections on the stairs, warm under lighting on the legs/butt) makes this even sharper. I think matching the light temps at least somewhat would go a long ways.

Also might want to give this another crack in PS, her left foot is cutoff midway down.
