1.
Hi!
So I want to start developing my own C-41 and E-6 and have an old CPE-2 (no lift).
I have ordered the 2523 tank but am now wondering if I have made the wrong decision. I know this tank comes with a cog but does it also have a magnetic base?
Should I have ordered the 2521 instead?
Any help would be appreciated!
2.
Hi everyone,

I have wanted the 100mm f/2 for so long now and, due its high cost and scarcity, I am considering the f/2.8.

My question is how much of an imporvement is the f/2 over its slower cousin? Is it just faster or is there are noticeable improvement in sharpness and bokeh?

Do you think it is worth waiting until I can afford my dream lens?

Cheers!

  3. Hi everyone,

I recently invested in a Mamiya Sekor 100mm f/2.8. It's a great lens and very sharp.

Problem is, when I use the accompanying lens hood, the hood is visible through the rangefinder. I know what you

see isn't what will appear on the final image but the hood overlaps into the frame lines for both 6x7 and 6x9

    formats.

Is this a design fault or am I doing something wrong? (>_<)

    Thank you.

  4. Hi all,

I recently bought a CZJ MC Sonnar 180mm f/2.8 lens.

There is a little switch on the lens with the marks "A" and "M", I'm guessing

    auto and manual.

Does anyone know how this switch affects the operation of the lens?

Also, DOF preview on the Kiev 60 doesn't seem to work with this lens. Has

anyone else had the same problem?

    Thanks!

  5. Hi everyone,

Can anyone help me? I am trying to scan in Velvia 50 using an Epson V700

scanner. I have had no problems in the past scanning in negative film in the past.

After completing a previw scan the image appears way too overexposed. Then after

completing the scan, the image appears way too dark. Does anyone know what I am

    doing wrong?

I have taken some nice photos with Velvia and don't want them to be confined to

    the slide mounts! (>_<)

    Thank you!

  6. Hi all,

Excuse my ignorance but I am very interested in using the Singh-Ray GND filters

with my OM-2 camera. Is this possible? Will the graduation of the filter

    confuse the metering device?

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

    Thank you,

    Jonathan
