They make 35mm minoxes?
I was talking about subminiature.
-
How expensive are the cameras?
Can I get tri-x for it?
Do I need a special tank to develop the films in?
How expensive is the film per roll?
And finally, what is minox better for that a small 35mm can't do?
-
Why would it raise suspicions?
I want to wrap it to protect it from baggage handlers.
-
I only have 1 roll of it.
-
Thanks! I'll try that. I was just confused, as I have never flown with a tripod before.
-
How do you know it gets unwanted attention if it is checked?
If I take off the head, wrap it in a shirt, and wrap the legs in clothing, should that be ok?
-
Ted, I want to try Tech Pan though.
How much would it bring?
-
I want to bring my Gitzo tripod onto the plane, with the feet removed. Would they allow that? The feet
[they are spiked] will be in checked baggage.
-
I got a roll of tech pan, and was wondering how to develop it. I would like a normal to slighty high
contrast.
I have Rodinal and t-max developer. I was thinking about Rodinal in 1-100 stand developed.
-
I saw that, but I didn't really want to give my whole address to them.
-
I would like to know how old my Metz 32CT3 is.
Thanks!
-
Nice! I do that sometimes.
Quad posts?
-
Well, thats what you get with a P&S. I personally like this, reduces shake, and i like it wide
open.
-
What camera do you prefer to carry around as a "just in case a moment comes up" camera?
I have the Stylus epic, and I love it. Should I get the XA?
-
Scott thanks! For most photography, I just need a spotmeter, a camera with a lens attached,
and 2 other lenses. A flash would be nice. How are the Lowepro vs Domke bags? My local
store stocks Lowepro.
-
I was in Muskoka recently!
-
No problem! They send it to the USA though. Try your local pro lab, ask them to send it off.
-
I'm looking for a Domke bag.
I need to carry:
3 small lenses[50mm size]
Camera[with lens attached]
Flash, with flash bracket.
Spotmeter
Macro tubes
Filters
Film
What one do you recommend?
-
With the filters I would be shooting mostly Tri-x. I hardly ever shoot slide, except once in a
while. Here is a lab in toronto I think that does it http://www.silvanoimaging.com/e6proc.html
For some reason, they charge $30 a roll for kodachrome, but I sent it through Henrys and
they charged me $12 for a 36 roll mounted.
-
I was in Henrys, buying a new camera strap [Domke], developer, and a battery for my Olympus stylus
epic. I also picked up my Kodachrome.
I saw some Cokin filters, and was thinking of getting them. I was thinking of a ND grad, and a star filter I
don't use filters a lot. I also do not shoot landscape.
Do you think Cokin filters are right for me? These are the square ones.
What size do I need for a 49mm thread?
-
I think the Stylus Epic stays wide open [F2.8] until after 1/250 shutter speed.
-
So, Police will also hire photographers? Are they scene photographers or documentary?
-
I'm currently using a Pentax Spotmatic.
Whats wrong with a used F5?
-
There is a store locally selling a Nikon F5, good condition for this price. Should I get it?
Nikon F4 vs F5?
