As always, your work is awesome, John.

Hey Duce, this was shot at ISO 800, 1/15 sec shutter, with an image stabilization lens (75-300mm, at about 170mm).
Glad you like it!

The lighting was really low here (and I was sitting way in the back in
an attempt to not bother anybody) resulting in a lot of blurry shots.
This one, however, turned out quite nicely, I thought.

This almost exact photo is on photo.net in two other spots that I've found:

Maybe this is just a popular spot to take a photo. -
Ah, very cute.

Very nice - looks like a watercolor painting.

They almost look fake or like porcelain - I like it.

Agreed with the other commentors, but we all know you can't always frame the exact shot you want (I too, would have wanted to pan right). Good shot, regardless.

Very nice. I like the way this was framed/cropped.

Definitely unique - a little too abstract, though, I think.

Yes, a wonderful capture of expression and personallity. Doesn't hurt to have a beautiful model as well! ;-) Excellent job!

Wow! Thanks for the excellent evaluation, Bryce! Yes, the wire is gone now - I should have noticed that. I also added a very slightly angled burn gradient to make a portion of the foreground darker. I went back to the original photo and tried to sharpen it up a little bit more, hopefully the grass looks better now.
BTW - These are round hay bales. Iceland's weather is a lot like Seattle - its very wet there year round. So, they wrap their hay bales in plastic to help keep them dry.

Nice macro! Great colors and a nice job of getting both the fly and part of the flower in the DOF.

The dew on the spiderwebs add a lot. Nice capture.
