Hi to all, here http://cgi.ebay.com/Rotate-Hasselblad-V-back-Linhof-4X5-Adapter-4-Shots-/290462761245?pt=LH_DefaultDomain_0&hash=item43a0ee011d you see an adaptor to use a digital back like phase one on a Linhof large format camera.
In your opinion can I use it on a 4x5 Chamonix with a Phase one H5 or H10 or a Leaf digital back ?
In your opinion is a good alternative to obtain digital pictures to a relative low price ?
Thank you

Bob, here http://www.lemoyenformat.com/Neuf/MFnu.htm (please press the button Scheimpflug down below) you can see some digital large format system.
There is also the Linhof Techno that you speak above; is a very good camera but the cost for a person like me (I'm not a professionist) is without sense.
Another solution is a betterlight scanning back, used !

Every digital large format system has a cost without any sense, I can't spend money for it.
Also, e.g. the Horseman LD or Cambo X2 PRO are very expensive.
Thank you

Thank you to all.
Perhaps the best solution to avod to waste money is to buy the Canon TS-E 24mm f/3.5 L II Tilt-Shift Lens, but it's very very expensive.

I've bought an adaptor (with the chip) to mount my Contax Zeiss lenses on Canon 5D body.
For the moment I've tried with the lens written in the title, I shot the picture, but the camera mirror does not return to original position.
There is a solution to this problem ?
Thank you to all

Now I use a Copal 0 Nikon 90 mm f 4,5
I'll buy a wide angle bellows for my Chamonix and I'll try with it.
The problem of the lens (for film) on digital is a big problem. I can't change all the lens, I haven't the money to make it.
Thank you to all

Hi to all, I've bought this adapter http://www.fotodiox.com/product_info.php?products_id=633 for my Chamonix 4x5" (I use the universal bellow), but I can't focus the subject when I use the Canon.
Why ?

Hi to all, I've bought a Canon EOS 5D Mark II (is not again arrived).
I want a digital tilt - shift system, I'm not able to come to a decision about Horseman LD or Cambo X2-Pro.
I have some Pentax 67 lens, and I can mount them only on the Horseman LD (but this is not an important feature).
The alternative to this two system is a Canon TS-E 24mm f/3.5 L II or a Canon TS-E 17mm f/4.0
Can you help me ?

I'm in the same your situation !
I would like a 4x5" large format camera; I've found an used Linhof Technika 4x5 color with a Symmar 150 mm or a new Shen Hao or an http://www.argentumcamera.com/_angol/html_pages/home.htm but I'm not able to come to a decision.
I'm interested to a camera for architecture and landscape.
I've bought a 6x12 roll film back for Shen Hao (for my 4x5" Pinhole camera) and in this moment, I don't know if it mount on the other large format cameras without any trouble !
Sorry Nickolas if I've written and used your discussion, but write another new in my opinion is very stupid.
Bye

When I want a sharp results I use only color negatives Kodak 400 ISO on Pentax 67 (sigh ! at least for the moment).
To scan the negatives, I use an Imacon Flextight Precision II, but after some years of this procedure I become to think that for the colour (BW is different) print is better print directly from the negatives to avoid to lose time (sometimes a lot of it) to remove all the defect with Photoshop and to lose some of the negative quality.
It's a few days that I scan with a Microtek Artixscan 120 tf to 600 dpi the negatives only to put it on the web, and I begin to think to the C-Print.
About the Lambda, don't forget that the colour space is less than the sRGB.

In my opinion the D.B. Copper's idea is very good, I have to use a pair of plastic tweezers to remove the sheet film from the chassis.
Thank you very much to all for your help.
Hi to all, I need to know if it's available a digital back for Pentax 645.
I have some Pentax 67 lenses and with a adaptor I can mount it on on a Pentax 645 body.
If it's not available I could buy an lenses adaptor from Pentax 67 to Mamiya 645 and buy a digital back for it (I'm sure
that is available).
I need some general suggestions about my ideas, and where I can find an used digital back in Europe (also USA).
Thank you to all.
Bye

Warehouse for unsold artwork ("artist" not resident in USA)
in Business of Photography

Hi to all, I’m not sure if this is the right Forum “tree”, but I need your help.
I’m a not professionist “artist”, not resident in US.
I decided to partecipate in international selections in the US for the low fees and opportunity.
If I’ll select, to limitate the costs (for Italy to US by Fedex or UPS the costs are without any sense, more than 100 €), I decided to use an US print Laboratory (send my files via FTP) that delivery also my print to the Gallery.
The things that I don't like is that I do not see the finished print, I can’t sign it, but i think (in the case of sale) that ship to the Gallery the Hahnemuhle certificate (signed by me) with the two holograms is a good idea.
If the print is not sold, the Gallery must return it, and become the problems.
Some Galleries require to pay in advance the refund of the print (if the Gallery accepts, can I use my PayPal account).
I would not receive the print in Italy, but send it to a temporary warehouse (in the US) which is also involved with the shipment to other galleries to partecipate in other selections.
View my inexperience, do you know if there is this type of service ?
Can you provide me the URL of the site ?
In the hope of an answer, any remarks is accepted.
Thanks
Gianluca
