Beautiful bit of woodturning! What kind of wood is that?
You did quite well with a simple light setup, it allowed the beauty of the wood and simple form of the lidded vessel to shine.

I'm just jealous!! :-)

Panorama of rainstorm leaving the shore, just after the downpour.

Wonderful mood you captured, love the light.

No, this was one Dale shot with the Bronica.
-
Good shot. I would have cropped a little tighter on the right side, the bush hanging there is a bit busy looking but would be near impossible to eliminate from the shot.
Is the horizon line where it should be? Though it looks tilted it's hard to tell in mountainous areas.
I like the way the raking light is picking out the textures in the tree and the buttes and the depth inherent in the composition.

This is good! I wish I had your eye for composition.

Orchids come in many whimsical varieties. Who says the creator
doesn't have a sense of humor?
-
I would love to find a site I can use to identify these flowers, the Orchid
Center website doesn't have much information specific to the plant
types.

We were burning film prior to a darkroom C-41 session so we picked on
my son in laws bike as it was getting a good dose of afternoon light.

Thanks all! The blue glow is a result of the difference in the color temperature of the light. Balance the print so tungsten light is white and daylight goes really blue.

Taken on a weekend jaunt, one of the cannons guarding Fort Pulaski
from the hordes of tourists.
Can't say it's doing a great job of that, we got in!
We did get to see two of the small artillery cannons fired just as we
arrived.
Upper and lower areas burned in with PS to check the effect before I get
into the darkroom

You are right. Have you been down the road to Raven Cliff Falls?

Stitched from about 6 images from my EOS rebel 6mp.Pano worked
pretty fair for having several people wandering around in it.

I was exploring the textures in the peeling paint on some old rolling
stock at the Southeastern Railway Museum. This was a subject that
could be followed for days.

I love the way the rusting hulk stands out from the foliage in IR. Great choice of medium.
