Hi Lori - its a PINEAPPLE! Ok, ok - I only know because I posted a macro of it fairly recently. See this link. http://photo.net/photodb/photo?photo_id=7261866

Great capture - beautiful colors. Including the web makes this a really good picture.

Love the expression - good work!

Simply delightful. The slight lack of focus does not distract for me, as the human element is far more powerful. Great capture.

Against the backdrop of these beautiful stairs, I noticed that this
employee was not moving much. It set the idea for the theme of 'he
sees dead people' from 'The 6th Sense'. Anyway, I was just having fun.
Would love to know your reactions. If rating 3/3 or lower, please let me
know why, so I can use this information for improvement. Thanks.

Nice...very nice. Wonder if a bit more contrast would make it more accentuated. I agree with you about the 3/3 comment, and wish there is some way the website can enforce the need to leave a comment for a low rating - it would be so helpful to know what a person disliked! Best regards.

Ali - this is really beautiful. Great picture. Best regards

There is no problem with dof with this picture, which is completely in focus. Here the mural itself is fuzzy (a work of art), and hence the confused child! Also, I intentionally shot it at an angle to weave in a little more geometry.

Art has many forms of expressions, but for a child it clearly poses a
challenge. This child spent a while staring at this giant mural, trying to
figure out what exacly it was, and walked away with a shrug of her
shoulders. C&C welcome

Beautiful picture Diana. Only after I started shooting buterflies did I realize how hard it is. Your work makes it look so beautiful and easy! I strongly diagree with the low ratings this picture has received, as it almost looks like some folks grading pictures in this forum have no clue as to the technical challenges some pictures pose, and the sublime beauty of a great picture. 7/7 from me!

Thanks for your C&C> I have intentionally not cropped this image close, to give it a
sense of being photographed on the plant (and not a controlled studio setting). Plus I
like the green bokeh framing this rose. The color is original.

Superb! Wonderful colors and very well taken.

Very nice Arup. Had the reflections been complete this would have been an excellent picture. Good work.

This is reputedly the fastest and perhaps the most aggressive snake.
Some have likened it to the 'great white shark' of the serpentine world.

This picture is just heightened shadows of a small twig in the setting sun. Comments
welcome.
