The dead-on framing, the moody skies, and the converging lines that lead you straight into the visually confrontational subject combine to make this a truly powerful shot. Very well processed as well.
  1. Vladimir, Joaquim, Ron, and Thomas- Thank you for all your comments! I've had this photo in my head for a while now and I'm quite happy to hear that you like its realization.

    Sincerely,

Good call, Andi- the colors are already pushed pretty far, but I think you're right - there's still room for a little more saturation and contrast without becoming too unnatural. Thank you for taking the time to edit and comment; both are much appreciated.

Stefan, your mastery of light is consistently enviable- your photos reveal unmistakable control of light and shadow, whether it's broad, soft light gently placed on your subject as it is here, or close ups with the fluorescents. I believe I'll be looking here often for inspiration. Thank you for sharing your wonderful work. Oh, and I like your nearly hidden signature.

    Kind regards,

Thank you, Midhun. I think I see what you're talking about, in the way her right side is somewhat indistinct against the shutters. I may have to reprocess this and see what I come up with. Thanks a lot for your input!

Thank you, Viki, I very much appreciate the suggestion. However, I think if the green were brighter, it would be inconsistent with the mood I was going for in this shot. Thanks again!

Beautiful moment captured here, Eduardo- I love the way the flowing fabric stands against the geometric window. The model's placement and gaze are wonderful as well
