    Safe Distance

          2

Taken in a small town on the East Coast of South Africa, thought this would be an

interesting perspective than shooting outside. Nice soft light from the overcast day

came into the cave, thanx for viewing.

    Heavens Beat

Taken outside my house in Cape Town. Lightening woke me up so ran around into a

nearby field and managed to get a few shots off before it passed through. There was a

mixture of ambient city light and the lightening flash. Thanx for viewing.

  1. Taken in Cape Town just outside Campsbay, a long exposure of 4 min was set and

had time to enjoy the sunset as the temperature slowly cooled down. Interested to

know what you think? Thanx for viewing.

    Still Thoughts

Taken in Langebaan Reserve just outside of Cape Town. The reserve is closed in the

early morning and late evening so getting here takes an hour walk through the marshes

but well worth the effort. Interested to know what you think? Thanx for viewing.

  2. Taken in Langebaan just out of Cape Town, this nature reserve is unbelievably

beautiful but the road closes an hour before sunset so you have to walk for an hour in

the marsh to get there. Lots of foot cuts but well worth it. Interested to know what you

    think of it?

Really nice image! Composition and exposure all spot on and gives a great feeling of isolation. Foreground is perfect with the textures of the snow, 2 thumbs up from me. Well done!

Taken on the East Coast of South Africa. WAs drawn to the grooves on the rocks and

reflection in the water. Interested to know what you think of it? Thanx for viewing.

Thanx Mark for your input, always appreciate constructive criticism. This shot was an in between shot, as my main purpose was to do a panoramic of the area that i had planned for a while. The sky is extra dark because i used a polariser, maybe should have used a 0.6 grad instead of a 0.9. Will keep it all in mind for next time.

Thanx Pedro, yeah use of the polariser was a bit too much, will try to correct the curves like you said.

    Regards

    Stuart

Taken from a cave with Table Mountain in the distance as the fog cleared for a bit to

capture this image. Interested to know what you think about it.
