Thanks.

Kambiz & Brian: Glad you both liked it.
Shaun: Thanks. The crop of the top of my dad's head was intentional.
Jerry M: Thanks. Employing a landscape or horizontal frame, offseting the image to left, the black background, and croping off the top were intentional attempts to be more arsty with this composition, as opposed to being technically correct.
Cheers, all.

A great documentary shot. I almost feel like I'm right there in the background watching. Excellent work. Hope all's well with you.

Looks great.
I've been having some annoying export issues with Adobe Lightroom (LR). The original image file was RAW format. I made some initial adjustments in LR (WB/exposure, etc) and the image looked great. I sent it over to photoshop for sharpening, and then back to LR.
However, on exporting to final JPEG from LR, the JPEG looked nothing like the original color-corrected RAW/PSD file, and had this slight yellow tinge. I'm still researching why this is happening.

Both versions appeal to different aspects of my humble photographic visual sphere. If forced to choose though....i'd go with original. I like its landscape depth.

Looks awesome in B&W. I have a thing for high contrast B&W skies and so, would have liked some more here, but that's just a personal preference.
It in now way detracts from this composition. Excellent work.

Awesome shot here. I don't mind the glare, although the large white spot on the left branch of the U does subtract just a tad from fully enjoying the composition.
Love the vibrant colours. Well seen.
Cheers!
