Very nice result. Certainly breathes an classical atmosphere!

Have a look at this link: http://www.horsemanusa.com/dgf2.html
I use that body with Zeiss ZF lenses and a Medium Format digital back which has a sensor area that is larger than 24x36. (42x33 or 48x36).

The black frame around my images is not added afterwards. It is there when I take my images, it comes out of my camera directly like this. I do not add it later.
The framing in another color is like asking film to be other than black. It is just there. I could cut it off in Photoshop, which I do with some images, but it is a natural border that is there because the sensor I use is bigger than the shutter opening of the camera. This creates a black border just like film that is not hit by light.
I leave it on in many cases because I try to get the composition right on in my finder. Cutting of the frame just doesn't feel right in many cases. I sometimes do cut it off.

Lovely image. Great capture!

Thank you for viewing.

Erg mooi gedaan.

Thx! I think so too and have visited many other places as well. Maybe next time you visit the Netherlands, drop me a line.

Nice image. Original and nicely done with the pastel toning.

Absolutely a nice shot. Maybe you could upload it a bit smaller?

I like the light and the softness of the water combined with the harsh reality of the wreck. Nicely done.

Dynamic composition. Joyful image. I would definitely leave the flare in, it looks natural and not disturbing. It adds to the feeling of a warm and nice summers day.

Wilson,
This is along the Kooltuin. This is the oldest canal in Alkmaar. In the 16th century this used to be the vegetable garden of the castle.
You have taken this image almost in front of my door. I used to live in this straat until 2004.

Same here, I prefer the rectangle exactly for the same reason. The dark empty space adds a bit of piece and tranquility.

Beautiful classic shot.
The only thing that just might be improved is the reflectiveness of her skin (especially in her face). A softer light or some make-up could do just that.

Hahahah :)
No kidding, I am a lefthander too :)
Strange shot but funny...
