Nope... I mentioned it because that would normally be the 'rule'. Rules are meant to be broken when the alternative is better.
In this case I believe your choice is better than what the rule of thirds would have delivered. I think you made the right choice.
That is what I said or tried to.

Part of a series I am trying to make about children's dreams. Thank
you for viewing.

Nice!

Nicely done! Normally I don't like the horizon dead center but here it works very well. Nice blueish toning as well.

And they are not all that neatly parked :) Nice shot...

It might be not a perfect shadow but if you did not mention it I would not have noticed. It doesn't alter the purpose of the image which I find very original and nicely done!

Nice lighting, I had to look at least twice to be sure what I was looking at :)

Lovely image of a beautiful city.

Gorgeous! I love the feeling of emptiness and silence in this image.

Lovely image, making me wish I was there :)

Gorgeous pink/purple salt pans in front of the salt factory. Minutes
before a very large rain shower.
Thank you for viewing.

Lovely composition and great toning!

Beautiful image of stunning surroundings!
I don't get the anonymous raters that gave you a 3? It appears there are some people on Photo.net that do this to good images consistently. A pity :( At least give critique when passing absurdly low ratings.

Kurt,
No, I don't center the horizon all the time. Sometimes it just feels better to do so. It is a decision I make on the spot on how I see what is around me.
