<br />I would say it depends upon where you are traveling. If you are near a large city, then perhaps they will take the US$ but the problem would be the exchange rate. They may only give you PAR value for it even though your US$ is worth more. So if you don't mind losing money, then I say bring US$ and spend it as face value. Not everyone will know the exchange rate of the day and you will get less than what your US$ is worth<br>
