  1. Thanks. The engine belonged to the Norfolk & Western Railroad. It is a Class A 2-6-6-4, not a Big Boy, which I believe is 4-8-8-4. It is in very good condition, but difficult to photograph due to it's position. I will try to find some nice shots of the front an side to post soon. Thanks again.
  2. Thanks! Alas, the sad fact is that when I did this, there was no pilot! I'd never intended then for people to be looking that closely. In terms of the background, I tried a number of times to change it to a blue/gray of some kind, but found that I couldn't manipulate Photoshop in a way that didn't also wipe out the shadow under the wings and tailplanes. As to the cut-off wingtips, I did that on purpose because I felt that moving in tighter on the aircraft reduced the sense of it being a "model." Many thanks for the comments. Cheers. Aris
