Hi Dave,
I think of the three I like this one the best. I can imagine it without the logs strewn in there and I think that might be better based upon the previous poster's comments. I would not have thought of it being cluttered though left to my own thoughts. I appreciate the richness and depth of color in this shot. Wonderful color. Wish the weather had been better for you.

Nice shot Dave. Very well done. Think I have been there ;-) The water looks like glass in this shot. NIce work.

HI Dave,
Great shot you have here. The sky is just as anyone would have prayed for and the composure with the trees is very nice. You did very well with this one my friend. Kudos.

Cool shot. Romantic and tender. Very well could be a greeting card shot.

Love the DOF. Would have been a tad better if the face were a bit more in focus. However I really like this shot and in particular your composure.
-
I like the B&W treatment you gave this shot. I would agree with your comments about the lighting but from an artistic view point I would tend to think it enhances your shot. I like it!

This like one of those once in a lifetime photo-ops. Very nicely done. The light and color cast just make this marvelous.

Dave this shot is spectacular and dead on. You gave the composure some thought on this one that is certainly apparent. Very nice.

Love the composition here Dave. I am glad you braved the oncoming traffic... I love it! Hope you feel you were duly rewarded.. it appears to me you were.

Very nice work Dave. I love the colors and the way it appears rather desolate like a desert or lunar landscape. Nice cropping.

Very nice shot Dave. Must have been a peaceful sunrise for you. Were you drinking cowboy coffee sitting out there? It is a hard shot to take... hard (in my mind anyways) to capture and convey what it was to watch the sunrise unfold over the area. Again the road through the center allows one to gain some idea of size and depth.

Great job Dave. I have been here several times in my life but it has been about 20 years now. Always wanted to hike down in there and your shot rekindles that spark. Wonderful!

Nice shot Dave. Glad you could get some blue sky in this one. It really adds to the overall feel I think. I also like the idea of size we get on this with the road and car in the foreground. It's just a cool shot.

Very nicely done Dave. It almost appears to be a painting.
The colors and lighting must create that effect. I love all the spray at the bottom of the falls. It looks like quite a site. Would love to see it in person sometime. For now though this capture will do it for me. Lovely work.

This is a cool perspective Dave. When I looked at this I imagined how I would have felt trying to take the shot. Sometimes it is all we can do to avoid the fingerprints of man in our nature shots. Such as the road in this one. I can imagine trying to keep it out of the shot and then deciding that if it meant giving up a great perspective shot as this it just was not worth giving it up. This is very cool Dave.

Hello Mr. Dave!
I agree with your thoughts and edits on this shot. It is "more better" then the original all encompassig shot. Really draws attentiont to the person enveloped in the steam. Well done.

Hi Dave,
Yes that is where we were a couple of years ago. My P&S with no optical zoom could not do a whole lot. Your shot certainly conveys a sense of turbulence with the waves rolling in. You did well with what you had to work with.
