Does the combo work well?

Do you get AE and AF?

Thanks Jan but I wasn't thinking of a microscope attachment but rather something between my EOS 40D and my EOS lenses.

Olympus has one.
Does anyone make it for Canon?
Thanks ...

Is the filter tight or free-wheeling?

Just out of interest, what are you using now?

I recently purchased some Sanyo Eneloop's from Thomas Distributing. These are slow discharge batteries with only a 2000mAH rating compared to my 2300 MAHA Powerex. But my brief experience is that they are more likely to be at the ready when I need them because of their much slower discharge rate.
Thomas Distributing are great by the way ...

Good point. They are are coming to my photo.net address and redirecting to my real address. The interesting is, I have never used or posted my photo.net address.

I have been getting a lot of SPAM in the last 30-60, some 50-60 more than usual.
I looked closely at all the ones received in the last 2 days and found that
they are all coming from my photo.net email address.
Anyone else notice this?
I have now disconnected my photo.net email address.

Just search Google for Bogen 3265

I can't remember what I paid but I am pleased with my Bogen 3018 (AKA Manfrotto 434).

Whoops, I forgot to mention Bob Atkins!

I don't have ExifExtractor but according to what I have read, it creates a CSV (Comma Separated File) file.
You can open the file with Excel. Or you can paste the contents of the CSV file into Excel.
Depending on the Excel version, your data may automatically get parsed into columns. Or all your data will reside in one column. Highlight the column then, Data -> Text to Columns ...

We have four digital cameras in the house, including my 10D and 40D.
We use Breeze Systems Downloader Pro which can be configured to place the files in dated folders which, in turn, are grouped into one folder for each camera. For example, ...
D:\10D\2007-12-20\
D:\10D\2007-12-21\
D:\40D\2007-12-22\
D:\A95\2007-12-24\
Downloader Pro can also rename the files to a format of your choosing and include the camera name too.

I have something like the second. I call it my Tupperware Studio and I use four clamp fixtures with 23W daylight (5200K) compact fluorescent bulbs.

When not in use as a studio, the container holds my lights and fabric.

I bought a 10D, new. I bought a 40D, new.
I kept the 10D and it is functioning well as a 2nd camera.

Perhaps you should look at the Canon 70-300 IS ...

You need to find that CD.
-
No comparison. Canon 17-40. But Canon EFS 17-55 is darn good.
-
I'd like a G8. All the G9 technology and sensor size but with extended zoom at both ends, 8 megapixels for hopefully less noise and higher ISO useability and a flip screen,

OK, just go mine ...
