    I like the dof here. Great focal point. I like the water splash in the lower part of the photo even though it's not the main focus. I wish there was a little more detail on the Flamingo's beek.

    Yes he is a handsome duck. I know what you mean about the gold but I couldn't resist the shot. I did think that the gold was in interesting contrast to the duck. Like some of the others I might have been better off using a neutral density filter to kind of de infasize the gold some.

    Thanks for your comments Alex and Nancy. I probably could have used a neutral density filter to tone down the that golden color at the top. Getting the dof was hard because the duck was swimming towards me but at a slight angle. I just had to pick a point infront of the duck and wait for him to swim into the focal point.

    Thanks Alex. I wish I had gotten more of the white ducks body it might have made the photo a little bit more symmetrical. By the time I adjusted the lens to do that the white duck was starting to move.
