maria, really like the light in this one. his cheeks are lit just so. I like to have babies look at me, but not always necessary as in this one. do try using a large fleece blanket or smooth velvet for your background, to limit shadows and creases. good start! regards, mmwhite.

shenandoah, a very nice composition here. for some candid shots, you cannot pre-determine the clothing, of course. but I find that if you can prepare for it, ask parent to dress baby in clothes without logos - for me it is distracting. a good 'Calvin' ad tho! looking for more from you. regards, mmwhite.
