lindabique 1 Posted April 28, 2009 The background in the large version reminds me of a silk screen. I really enjoy the sharpness in the foreground contrasted with the blur in the background, beautiful rich tones and mood...the square format works well here...nicely done! :) Link to comment
je.barreto1 0 Posted April 28, 2009 Congratulations, the image is wonderful!... Light and colors... and composition are very good. Also the squared format is fine. A pleasure to the viewer eyes. Best regards. Link to comment

jgalyon 0 Posted May 31, 2009 Tim....my best friend in all of the world of Photo.net! So good to hear from you! Bet you thought I'd never be back! We'll definitely have to do some catching up. I'm jumping around...trying to get caught up on acknowledging those who have visited my portfolio, but give me a little time and we'll have a good talk. Truly great to hear from you. This photo was taken near dusk in the Tellico Mountains of east Tennessee. (not that I said "east Tennessee"...not "eastern"...Tennessee). It's a quirk known to Tennessee alone...as far as I know. It's "west or east"...not eastern or western. A bit of trivia I thought you might find minimally interesting!!! lol If you look through my portfolio and go to "streams and waterfalls" you'll find shots of Bald River Falls...which is close to where this was shot. The Tellico Mountains are part of the Appalachians...not so far from the Great Smoky Mountains. These Mountains aren't quite so majestic as the Smokies...but there're incredibly beautiful and you don't have to fight the crowds of tourists like you do in the Smokies. Anyway....I'll be visiting your portfolio soon and can't wait to have a long talk. Yo bud....jg Link to comment
