I think this is a beautiful composition: the complex geometry of this small tree really amazes me and the background makes the subject really stand out... And finally the light (I suppose provided by the sun) gives this photo the perfect touch.

Beautiful mood and composition! I like the low contrast and your choice of non rendering the foreground trees as perfect silhouettes... The trees on the left and right side build a sort of natural curtains so the "non-conformist" tree is the main character!

This is a beautiful composition: what really makes the image is the curled road on the right, which appears and disappears from the mountain's shadow.

I think the lightness of the mist in the background is a little too "pumped", althought it adds to the photo...

Grazie per i vostri commenti. In effetti le ombre sono proiezioni di alberi alle mie spalle ed anch'io avrei sacrificato un po' di cielo a favore di questo elemento grafico, ma comparivano anche le ombre mia e della mia auto... :-)

Andrea, l'uomo a cavallo è stato un colpo di fortuna: passavo di lì in cerca di qualche buon soggetto da fotografare e prima ho visto la casa, poi l'uomo a cavallo... Sono riuscito a scattare appena in tempo! Ad onor del vero c'era anche una brutta auto parcheggiata sull'argine, vicino alla casa... In questo caso Photoshop aggiusta tutto... ;-)

Another beautiful composition and point of view! About exposures I prefer the results you got in the horizontal version (your previuos post): in fact it deceived me and I didn't realize it was a blend of two exposures... Here the blend is a bit too obvious, IMHO, because the foreground is very light, as if it was lit by another source beyond the sun...

My only suggestion is to pull down the lightness of the foreground... Maybe this will result in a little loss of details, but you will achieve a more natural look for this wonderful shot.

Decisamente eccellente questa composizione! Gli elementi architettonici creano un ottimo ritmo e perfetta è la scelta del B&N: bravo! Non ho critiche, se non una proposta: visto che l'immagine è composta da elementi grafici (aree) privi di importante dettaglio (sono gli elementi stessi infatti che fanno questa fotografia), potresti provare a separare maggiormenti i toni, creando più contrasto, per dare maggiore profondità all'immagine... Più facile a dirsi che a farsi, comunque interessante a livello di prova, a mio avviso!
