This was an image on your portfolio, that really caught my eye..Dont be discouraged by what some other people say..We have all seen a million photos of lighthouses, the ocean, sunsets, and on and on..BUT each person has a different eye, a different view..which in return makes each photograph different. My opinion is, if something strikes you as a great image, then go for it! You never know, it might be that one shot you catch that stands out fromt the rest!

The angles of her body flow very nicely here. Beautiful portrait..maybe include the left hand? Overall, beautifully done..very simple, yet sensual image.

I find this a very interesing photograph..Your eye moves along, wondering what you will see next..Very many different shapes, but somehow they all seem to flow together well here.. The lighting and contrast is great, and very sharp, crisp lines..Well done!
  1. Hi Bill!..oh how I contemplated this..cropping dilemna! I cropped it, uncropped it, and cropped it, and yet uncropped it again! I couldnt decide what I wanted to do, but here it is, this is what I decided on!..So yes I agree cropping was definately a factor for me as well! ;)

Hi Kevin!..Yea there was a storm right before this, and actually on one side of the horizon, there was the most beautiful blue sky..and one side was overcast..Of course, this shot that I wanted was under the gray side. Although I will say, I have had somewhat of a hard time getting the sky to look as blue as it truly is from my viewpoint..Could it be a white balance error?..Any suggestions? Thank You!

This is one my favorites on here!..The lighting and the contrast work perfectly together. You captured a perfect moment here.

The first thing I thought of when I looked at this was ..content..She has a softness about the expression in her eyes, weathered, yet seasoned..as though life has fulfilled her. I really like the soft lighting as well..wonderfully done.
