<b>Patrick,</b><br>Thanks for your additional information. Yes, both Nvidia and ATI are making graphic cards too,
maybe delivering them to companies like Apple directly. But their own cards are not that easily to find in retail
stores, at least not here. In the wide, wild world of Windows-PCs there are plethora of companies making
components on licence, graphic cards as an good example. In Mac world things are pretty much easier: Apple, but
let's not discuss Mac vs Windows here. ;-)

<b>Patrick,</b><br> Thank you for this info. Unfortunately you didn't mention who is the maker of your graphic card. I say this because I have got earlier this impression that drivers and software may vary depending by the company.<p>
I made some search on <b>Idealo.de</b> and found out there were 6 cards with Radeon HD 2600 XT, made by
GigaByte, HIS, MSI and Sapphire. Eight cards with GeForce 7300 GT, made by Asus, Club3D, Gainward, MSI, Palit and XFX. As I made these findings on a German site I have to check local Finnish dealers, which ones were available here now.<p>Any other <b>NEC</b> users around here to give further recommendations / sharing bad experiences (if any)?

I'm about to build new PC with carefully selected components. For my <b>NEC Multisync 2090UXi Photo
Edition</b> display I need a graphic card supporting <b>DDC/CI</b> to enable communication with graphic card
LUT & display. Unfortunately this data is not mentioned in specifications published by the makers, a fact that makes
me wonder why.<p>
NEC Support mentioned in their reply to my email <b>Nvidia Quadro 285</b> or <b>ATI X1300</b>, but cards
having these chips seem to no more available. On the other hand, if any card would do why would NEC bother to
mention this requirement?<p>
I wonder what cards the other owners of NEC MultiSync display have in their system. All experiences, good or bad,
are highly appreciated. Thank you.

I forgot to mention that the first example was about a photo of another member while the second example was about my own photo. My workspace page gives correct follow-up count of comments (=13).

I have noticed that the Follow-up comments listing feature is not working like it did earlier.<p>
The header of Follow-up page states: <i>"The number is the number of comments since your <b>last</b>
comment."</i>. It seems that this should read <i>"The number is the <b>total</b> number of comments."</i> or
<i>"The number is the number of comments since your <b>first</b> comment."</i>. But unfortunately the number is
not neccessary correct either.<p>
Let me note two cases from my recent follow-ups list:<p>
case 1 (from the top): The page lists 9 comments, true 6, of whis mine #1, 3 and 5<p>
case 5 (from the top): The page lists 29 comments, true 13, of which mine #2, 6, 7, 9 and 12<p>
Makes me wonder whenever the later addition on the comment editing page with second window for editing befor final
confirmation does cause this error? As I have written in another follow-up related thread, I regularly check this page in
order to follow the discussion. Now the system is fooling me totally.

As a regular user of Follow-up feature I'm very pleased to notice this recent improvement. So my thank you to all who made this happen.

May I join this discussion telling that I regularly use this follow-up feature and do daily experience it's recent very poor performance. Other than this short notation I don't have time nor energy to write just now.
