Let's have some gear talk. I want to save you for details but I traded my dSRL Sony A77 for A6000 for the much smaller size and weight, better features - most of all the WiFi connection to my smartphone, which can work as wireless remote control with preview as well as my post editing device on-the-go. On my Galaxy Note2 I have three apps for resizing, occasional cropping, various effects and finally mounting the finished photo over my standard frame. My A6000 records also in RAW format for better post production with CS6 on my home PC.
Well, its about bicycle lane and tram track (in Amsterdam,
if you must know), so does this qualify as a street photo?
Your opinion and thoughts are welcome. Thanks for your
time and effort.
This scene gives me the feel "you are not alone, we know where you are and who you are talking to". Not only the display setup with white on white theme is great, but most of all the way those mannequins are "turned ON" by the reflecting sunlight spots from neighbouring windows makes this passing moment great, successful capture. Those warm toned reflections on top are bonus.
Well, the colors are very much yours, may I say your trademark, but what strikes me here is how I get repeatedly fooled reading that boat as the reflection of the base of the building. Additionally that pole is sorta measurement stick, also so well aligned. Eye candy indeed.
Well, running is sport activity but still I have difficulties to
define this as sports photo. How do you see this? Anyway ND filter and
1/15sec exp.time makes all the difference. Your thoughts would be
highly appreciated. Thanks for your time.
I have a soft spot for this color version and do wonder if you ever considered present #2 as third color version as well. Your own thoughts about that, please.
I'm late to this party but would add one very appealing detail not mentioned earlier. I appreciate the tonal "switch" between those men and the lady: their white tops, her white bottom - and how their waist levels match. As said earlier, top notch street photo also in my book.
This one could be paired with the one with traffic sign and car. Here I somehow see the three footprints of those three visible feet and their track (too much navigation lately, as you notice). As a side note the graffiti on the mentioned photo could symbolise noise and pollution caused by motorised vehicles. Just my 2c.
